Napa Valley at a Glance
The Napa Valley lies just east of Sonoma
County in an area of California
that is best known for its world-class wineries
and vineyards. Many of the local attractions include the vineyards in some
way, such as limousine wine tasting tours or aerial views of the grapes from a
balloon. Health and relaxation spas abound in the Napa Valley and add to the vacation
experience for visitors wishing to escape the bustle of larger Californian cities.
Other local activities take full advantage of the year-round moderate climate
and natural environment, including golfing at the local links and hiking around
the Napa hills. The town of Napa is also home to the COPIA
Cultural Center, operated by the American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts.
The center acts as as a venue for live entertainment, food and wine tasting and
more.
